This stunning Japanese tea bowl or Chawan, is designed for use with Matcha, or powdered green tea. The bowl has a deliberately misshapen appearance, and features a beautiful white and grey snow-like glaze.
The darkened interior makes for a perfectly contrasting colour against the vivid bright green of the prepared Matcha tea. The base of the bowl in unglazed, which adds a hint of rustic earthiness to the bowl’s appearance.
